MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Upward Bound Scholarship to Kayla Webster and SiDava Wells. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Webster is a 2018 Airport High School graduate. Webster will be exploring multiple career options while attending MCCC. Kayla is the daughter of Kyle and Jamie McLaughlin.
Wells is a 2018 Monroe High School graduate. Wells will be studying journalism while attending MCCC before transferring to a four year university. SiDava is the daughter of Davina Cecelia Warren and Demetrius Parker-Warren.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a first-generation college student or meet income eligibility guidelines.
