MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Kirwen and Karau Scholarship to Sydney Guth. The $1,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Guth of Carleton is a 2018 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central. Guth will be studying general education while attending MCCC before transferring to Franciscan University to study Catechetics and Theology. Sydney is the daughter of John and Tammy Guth.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be planning to transfer to a college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree, a graduate of a Monroe County, Michigan, high school, must show high academic achievement and must maintain at least full-time enrollment status with twelve (12) credit hours.
