MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Susan L. Lingar “A.G.” Memorial Scholarship to William Miller. The $1,150 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Miller of Petersburg is a 2018 graduate of Summerfield High School. Miller will be studying accounting while attending MCCC. William is the son of William and Lynette Miller.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree in the accounting field, must be a graduate of a Monroe County Michigan high school or completed a GED, be a Monroe County resident, and be a U.S. Citizen. Additionally, students must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, and must maintain part-time enrollment status of at least six credit hours or more.
