MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Rose and Dr. Richard Walker Culinary Scholarship to David Jordan. The $950 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Jordan of Lambertville is a 2017 graduate of Bedford High School. Jordan is studying culinary skills and management while attending MCCC. David is the son of Mark and Lisa Jordan.
To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the Culinary Skills and Management Program, applicants must be seeking a degree to prepare them for a career will be considered, must be enrolled in a minimum of eight contact hours per semester and financial need will be considered in awarding the scholarship.
