MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marissa L. Presnell Memorial Scholarship to Charis Robinson. The $1,000 scholarship is to cover costs of tuition, book and supplies.
Robinson of Temperance is a 2014 graduate of Bedford High School. Robinson is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Charis is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Student Nurse Association.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the MCCC Nursing Program and have completed the first semester of the program with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA. Recipient must be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, a United States citizen, a graduate of Bedford High School, and enrolled at least part-time at MCCC.
