MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the President Emeritus Dr. Ronald Campbell and Blondelle Campbell Scholarship to Amanda Stevens. The $800 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Stevens of Milan is a 2005 graduate of Milan High School. is studying nursing while attending MCCC. She is currently an active member of the Student Nurses Association at MCCC. Amanda is the spouse to Michael Opfermann and mother to Keagan Mischka.
To be eligible the student must be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, demonstrate academic excellence, and maintain at least a part-time enrollment at MCCC. Preference will be given to a student who is an active member of the MCCC Honor Society and have financial need.
