MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Namaste Day Scholarship to Lucas Gambino. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Gambino of Monroe is a 2018 Monroe County Middle College graduate. Gambino plans to study at MCCC for two years before transferring to a four year university to study clinical psychology. Lucas is the son of Kim and Todd Gambino.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must express interest in and have a strong history of community service, be at least a part-time student, defined as six (6) billable contact hours per semester at MCCC and agree to speak at the Namaste Day event held on the MCCC campus.
