MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Lewis D. McClure Scholarship to Amber Kops. The scholarship of $2,000 is to be used for tuition, books, supplies and fees.
Kops of Lambertville is a 1999 graduate of Bedford High School. Kops is studying cybersecurity and information while attending MCCC. Amber is the daughter of Kimberly Koberstein and Edgar Kops.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher, reside in Monroe County, and demonstrate financial need.
