MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded The Mariya Heinzerling Memorial Scholarship, formally the Student Nurses Association Scholarship, to Victoria Laurell. The $1000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Laurell of Manchester is a 2017 Monroe County Middle College Graduate. Laurell is studying nursing while attending MCCC. Victoria is the wife of Jake Laurell.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student be enrolled in the Registered Nursing Program or Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate Program at Monroe County Community College, be a member of the MCCC Student Nurses Association (SNA) and have a 3.4 GPA or higher.
