MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Giuseppe Chirco Vocational Scholarship to Michelee Rigdon. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Rigdon of Monroe is a 2004 graduate of Monroe High School. Rigdon is studying Construction Management while attending MCCC. Michelee is the daughter of Kenneth Rigdon and Rhonda Henhawk.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be enrolled in an occupational program of study that is related to construction trades, be at least a part-time student at MCCC, a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, United States citizen and have and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
