MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Dr. Gerald L. Howe Scholarship to Kayla Homolka. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Homolka of Petersburg is a 2017 graduate of Whiteford High School. Homolka is studying pre- nursing while attending MCCC. Homolka was a member of National Honors Society and graduated cum laude at Whiteford High School. Kayla is the daughter of Dawn and Charlie Homolka.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a health related curriculum and must maintain full-time enrollment status. Additionally, a student must demonstrate community/school involvement and submit a letter of interest outlining their educational and career goals.
