MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the George Rhodes Scholarship to Brooke Lambrix. The $250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.
Lambrix of South Rockwood is a 2007 graduate of Jefferson High School. Lambrix is studying nursing while attending MCCC. She has been a Writing Fellow at MCCC for two consecutive semesters. She is the wife of Ben Lambrix and mother of Peyton Lambrix.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain part-time enrollment (enrolled in 6 credit hours) during the scholarship year and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The student must have worked at least one semester in a tutoring program recognized by the Learning Assistance Lab or an academic division at MCCC and remain active in the tutoring program during the scholarship year.
