MONROE, Mich. – Three nationally touring comedians – Norm Stulz, Steve Lind and Jeff Nease – will bring a show being billed as “Triple Time Comedy” to Monroe County Community College’s La-Z-Boy Center on Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
The La-Z-Boy Center is located on MCCC’s Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.
Stulz, who grew up in Detroit, takes the events of his life and transforms them into hilarious pieces that are timeless. His brand of humor has delighted audiences nationally and internationally. Stulz has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime, NBC and ABC. His comedy material can be heard on The Bob and Tom Show, Johnny Burke and the Morning Crew, and XM Comedy radio.
Lind’s comedy is focused on his unique perspective as a husband and father of four boys. Lind doesn’t pick on members of the audience; instead, he takes swings at family life, sports or the out-of-touch. His energetic style and natural likeability help soften his satirical outlook on life. He has opened for acts like Kathleen Madigan, Tim Allen, Bobby Colling and Michael Winslow.
Nease, who studied film and theater at the University of Toledo and began honing his craft in nightclubs, rock bars, colleges and lounges in and around Northwest Ohio and Detroit, has performed at such iconic venues as The Riviera, MGM Grand, Tropicana, Stardust and Rio. In addition to his nightclub work, he is one of the most sought after comedians by the world’s most popular cruise lines. Nease’s corporate clients include Allstate, Taco Bell, The Royal Bank of Canada, USANA and Canon.
