MCCC’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center to Host Roundtable Discussion

MONROE, Mich. –  On April 27, Monroe County Community’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center will host a roundtable discussion on the topic of what separates an entrepreneur from everyone else.

The roundtable discussion is free and open to the public and will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Room 173a of the Warrick Student Services Administration Building on MCCC’s Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.

Anyone who is considering a business concept, at the initial stages of launching a business or ready to move to the second stage of a business should attend the discussion.

Participants will learn some of the traits that successful entrepreneurs practice as they move their businesses from start-ups to successful operations.  In addition, how these entrepreneurs successfully exit their enterprises will be discussed.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center is a partnership between MCCC, the Monroe County Business Development Corporation, the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation of Monroe County and the Bedford Business Association, established for the purposes of supporting an environment that attracts, supports and encourages business start-ups and the growth of small- and medium-sized businesses in Monroe County.

The center offers technical assistance and guidance to entrepreneurs and existing businesses through workshops, training, one-on-one counseling, open discussions, and access to space and technology.
