MONROE, Mich. – In recognition of Constitution Day, Monroe County Community College will host a presentation titled “Fake News and the Constitution” on Sept. 20 from 7-9 p.m. in the La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater.
The panel discussion is free and open to the public. MCCC is located at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.
Attorney Robin Luce-Herrmann will discuss the importance of the media and the First Amendment in our deeply polarized country. Luce-Herrmann is the current general counsel for the Michigan Press Association, the official trade association for the newspapers of Michigan.
