MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Susan L. Lingar “A.G.” Memorial Scholarship to Lindsay Hess. The $1,150 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Hess, of Petersburg, is a 2017 graduate of Summerfield High School and is pursuing an Associate of Science degree at MCCC. Her goal is to receive an accounting degree. She is the daughter of Greg and Melissa Hess.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree in the accounting field, must be a graduate of a Monroe County Michigan high school or completed a GED, be a Monroe County resident, and be a U.S. Citizen. Additionally, students must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, and must maintain part-time enrollment status of at least six credit hours or more.
