The Foundation at MCCC Awards the Milton G. Russell Memorial Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Milton G. Russell Memorial Scholarship to Lauren Rae. The scholarship of $850 is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.

Rae, of Carleton, is a 2016 graduate of Airport High School and is pursuing a Liberal Arts Degree at MCCC. She currently works at Writing Center at MCCC and also volunteers with Airport Community Schools. She is the daughter of James and Monique Rae.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a resident of Monroe County for a minimum of five years before they receive the scholarship, must maintain three-quarter time enrollment status of nine credit hours or more and demonstrate financial need. Priority will be given to applicants with a history of Attention Deficit Disorder.
