MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Roof Family Foundation Trustee Merit Supplemental Scholarship to Quinn Blanchard, of Monroe. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Blanchard, a 2017 Dundee High School graduate, plans to complete her Associate’s Degree in the Nursing Program at MCCC. In high school, she was part of Student Council, Student government and the National Honors Society. She has volunteered at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital, Dundee Senior Center, and several blood drives. She is the daughter of John and Tina Blanchard.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be graduating from Dundee High School, Dundee, Michigan, in the current academic year, score a minimum 1000 on the SAT or 21 on the ACT and meet all other terms and conditions required to receive the MCCC Trustee Merit Scholarship. Financial need may be considered when selecting the recipient and selection will be based upon their academic achievement, involvement in student activities and community service.
