The Foundation at MCCC Awards the Roof Family Foundation Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Roof Family Scholarship to Nathan Scholl. The $3,750 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Scholl, of Dundee, is a 2017 Dundee High School graduate and plans to complete his Associate’s Degree in Business at MCCC. While attending high school he was involved with the National Society of High School Scholars, Dundee wrestling team state championship, and FFA. He has also volunteered with Dundee Care and Share. He is the son of Tim and Karen Scholl.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must enroll in an occupational program of study with the intent to complete a program study at MCCC and immediately enter the workforce, must be a full-time student defined as twelve (12) billable contact hours or more, must be a Monroe County, Michigan, resident, graduate from a Monroe County, Michigan, high school and must have a GPA 2.8 or higher. Preference will be given to students who were in the foster care system during high school, and/or graduate from Dundee Community Schools, Dundee, Michigan.
