MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Namaste Day Scholarship to Abrielle Bowser. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Bowser, of Ida, is a 2015 graduate of Seton Home Study School is pursuing a Nursing degree at MCCC. She is very active volunteering in the community for the Salvation Army, St. Stephens, St. Anthony’s, Heartbeat of Monroe and Family House among other places. She is the daughter of Paul and Tracy Bowser.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must express interest in and have a strong history of community service, be at least a part-time student, defined as six (6) billable contact hours per semester at MCCC and agree to speak at the Namaste Day event held on the MCCC campus.
