MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the John and Violet Mueller Scholarship to Mychal Liparoto and John Parrish. The $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Liparoto, of Erie, is a 2010 graduate of Erie Mason High School and is pursuing a Respiratory Therapy degree at MCCC. He is currently treasurer of the Respiratory Therapy Club at MCCC. He is the son of Brandy Bondie.
Parrish, of Erie is a 2017 graduate of Mason Senior High School and is pursuing an Associate’s Degree at MCCC. He is the son of John and Brenda Parrish and brother to Beth Parrish.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Jefferson High School and a resident of Monroe County. In addition, student must maintain at least part-time enrollment of six credit hours or more, and must have and maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher during their scholarship year.
