MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the David L. McIntyre Memorial Scholarship to Elizabeth Hoffman, of Monroe. The $2,600 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Hoffman, a 2017 Monroe High School graduate, is pursuing her Associate of Fine Arts Degree at MCCC. She was the chief editor of her high school yearbook and a member of the National Honors Society. She has dreams of becoming an interior designer.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe High School graduate, enrolled in a transfer curriculum and maintain a full-time enrollment status of at least 12 credit hours. To continue to receive this scholarship, the recipient must demonstrate continuing academic achievement of at least a 2.5 grade point average.
