MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Lewis D. McClure Scholarship to Eli Limones. The scholarship of $2,000 is to be used for tuition, books, supplies and fees.
Limones, of Monroe, is a 2009 graduate of Monroe High School and is currently taking courses in the culinary program at MCCC. He is the son of Aniceto and Estela Limones, and the husband to Ruby Limones. He is also the father to Elio and Eliseo Limones.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher, reside in Monroe County, and demonstrate financial need.
