The Foundation at MCCC Awards the Kirwen and Karau Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Kirwen and Karau Scholarship to Kalle Bauman. The $1,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Bauman, of Temperance, is a 2017 graduate of Whiteford High School and is pursuing an Associate of Science Degree at MCCC. She is part of Future Farmers of America and the manager of the greenhouse. She is the daughter of Phillip and Holly Bauman.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be planning to transfer to a college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree, a graduate of a Monroe County, Michigan, high school, must show high academic achievement and must maintain at least full-time enrollment status with twelve (12) credit hours.
