The Foundation at MCCC Awards the Karen Karau-Collins Memorial Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Karen Karau-Collins Memorial Scholarship to Blake Bolton. The $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Bolton of Monroe is a 2016 graduate of Monroe High School who is studying computer science at MCCC. He is a volunteer for the radio station “Rewind 94.3.” He is the son of Tammy and Skip Bolton.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain at least half-time enrollment status with six credit hours or more and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
