MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Dr. Gerald L. Howe Scholarship to Sarah Duvall. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Duvall, of Monroe, is a 2014 graduate of high school and is currently pursuing a career in Nursing at MCCC. She is also a member of the student nurse association through Monroe County Community College. She is the daughter of Nyle Rowley and the fiancee to Gabe McQuaide.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a health related curriculum and must maintain full-time enrollment status. Additionally, a student must demonstrate community/school involvement and submit a letter of interest outlining their educational and career goals.
