MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Harrison P. Rose Scholarship to Jacob Brancheau. The $775 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
Brancheau, of Monroe, is a 2015 graduate of Monroe High School. He also received the Richard Swartz Scholarship and the John Weir Scholarship. He is the son of Ken and Kelly Brancheau.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be have a documented diagnosis of a lifetime physical disability with preference given to a student born with Spina Bifida, be at least a part-time student at MCCC, a Monroe County, Michigan, or Wayne County, Michigan, resident and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
