MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Gwendolyn M. Jacob Memorial Scholarship to Caitlin Kern. The scholarship of $900 is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Kern, of Monroe, is a 2017 graduate of Monroe High School and is pursuing an Associate of Science degree at MCCC. She was the president of the 4H club at Monroe High School and a member of Business Professionals of America. She is the daughter of Chuck and Sandy Kern.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from Monroe High School, enrolled in a transfer curriculum at MCCC, have a GPA of 2.5 or above and maintain a full-time enrollment status of twelve (12) credit hours.
