The Foundation at MCCC Awards the George Rhodes Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the George Rhodes Scholarship to Sarah Dusseau. The $250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Dusseau, of Ida, is a 2013 graduate of Ida High School. She is currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree at MCCC. She is a writing fellow at MCCC. She has also worked as a supplemental instructor, tutor and student assistant in her time at MCCC. She is the daughter of Patrick and Catherine Dusseau.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain part-time enrollment (enrolled in 6 credit hours) during the scholarship year and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The student must have worked at least one semester in a tutoring program recognized by the Learning Assistance Lab or an academic division at MCCC and remain active in the tutoring program during the scholarship year.
