The Foundation at MCCC Awards FEDCO Science and Technology Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. –The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the FEDCO Science and Technology Scholarship to Cody Lake and Dakota Masson. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Lake, of Temperance, is a 2003 Northwood High School graduate pursuing a degree in Mechanical Design Technology at MCCC. He is involved with his church and their mission house in Toledo's inner city. He is the husband to Alicia Lake and the father to Colton and Libery.

Masson, of Monroe, is a 2014 Jefferson High School graduate pursuing a degree in Mechanical Design Technology at MCCC. He has earned a spot of the Dean’s List at MCCC. He is the son of Byron and Jolene Masson.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the recipient must be enrolled in one of the following programs: Industrial Management Technology, Mechanical Design Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Product and Process Technology class at MCCC, must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and be a Monroe County, Michigan resident. Preference will be given to a Jefferson High School graduate and have financial need.
