MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Hallie H. Billmire Scholarship to Seth Collins. The $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Collins of Dundee is a 2017 graduate of Summerfield High School. He will pursue a registered nursing degree at MCCC. While attending high school, he was treasurer of the National Honor Society and was a Michigan Youth Leadership recipient. He was captain of the varsity golf team, a drum major in the Summerfield High School Marching Band and a member of the Dundee High School Jazz Band. He is the son of Beth and Tom Collins.
