The Foundation at MCCC Awards the Marvin and Jean Baumann Family Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marvin and Jean Baumann Family Scholarship to Adam Jones. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Jones, of Monroe, is a 2001 graduate of Lincoln Park High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Welding Technology at MCCC. He is the son of Mike and Janeen Jones.

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be pursuing a degree in an applied technology or health sciences occupational program at MCCC. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours.
