MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Edward W. Banachowski Community Service Scholarship to Bayleigh Cook. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Cook, of Temperance, is a 2015 graduate of Bedford High School and is currently studying Criminal Justice at MCCC. She currently works at a daycare facility and golf course. She is aslo involved with the criminal justice club at MCCC and made the 2016 Dean’s list. She is the daughter of Brian M. Cook.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must show expressed interest in and be currently involved in community service. Additionally, a student must be a Monroe County Resident, have a 2.5 GPA minimum, and maintain full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more.
