MONROE, Mich. – The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Adopt-A-Student Scholarship to Kaitlyn Cushing. The $127 scholarship, awarded to a Monroe County, Monroe, Michigan, student who is in good academic standing, is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Cushing, of Flat Rock, is a 2012 graduate of Summit Academy North High School pursuing an associate’s degree at MCCC. She volunteers in the community helping with good fellows and Toys for Tots. She is the daughter of Andrew and Tammy Davis and the wife to Blake Cushing.
