MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Elizabeth M. and Francis P. Steffes Memorial Scholarship to Holly Owsley. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for books.
Owsley, of Monroe, is a 2010 graduate from Airport High School pursuing a career in Nursing at MCCC. She is currently working at Fountain View of Monroe, caring for the aging population. She is the daughter of Nick Ellison and Angela Pidgeon, married to Kalvin Owsley and mother to Khloe and Dominik Owsley.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must show financial need.
