MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marilyn Schroeder Memorial Scholarship to Tyler Tomasik. The $950 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Tomasik, of Carleton, is a 2013 graduate from Airport High School and is in the Nursing Program at MCCC. He is a member of the Student Nurses Association at MCCC. He is the son of Heidi Tomasik and Tim Tomasik.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a health occupation program or a health-related science curriculum, must have earned 30 credit hours or more toward their degree, must maintain a full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more, must have a 2.8 GPA or higher and must maintain active membership in a recognized College organization or activity during the scholarship year.
