MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the William E. Rupp Scholarship to Abigail Skemp and Jordan Wallace. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Skemp, of Monroe, is in the Criminal Justice Program at MCCC. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa at MCCC and Criminal Justice Club and volunteers monthly at GodWorks Soup Kitchen.
Wallace, of Temperance, a 2012 graduate of Bedford High School and is currently enrolled in the Product and Process Technology Program at MCCC. He is the son of Keith Wallace and Julie Wallace.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident, an U.S. Citizen and maintain a full-time enrollment status of twelve credit hours or more. In addition, the student must have a GPA of 3.4 or above.
