MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Lewis D. McClure Scholarship to Phyllis Alexius of Monroe. The $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, supplies and fees.
Alexius is a volunteer at the Monroe County Human Society Thrift Store and also at her church, Crosswalk Community Church of Monroe. She is married to Eric Alexius and has two daughters, Raphye Alexius and Danielle DeVold.
