MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Karen Karau-Collins Memorial Scholarship to Robert Boyd. The scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies, and books.
Boyd, of Monroe, is a 1996 graduate of Monroe High School and is currently studying CIS: system Administration Specialist at MCCC. He has participated in the Learning Assistance Lab’s Supplemental Instruction Program as a SI Leader at MCCC. He is the wife to Suzanne and the father to Mason.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must maintain at least half-time enrollment status with six credit hours or more, and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
