MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Noel H. and Elizabeth R. Dentner Scholarship to Caileene Powers. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Powers, of Petersburg, is a 2016 graduate of Summerfield High School and is pursuing an Associate’s Degree in the Automotive Program at MCCC. She volunteered in the community for the high school band program. She is the daughter of the Laura Powers and the late George Powers.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate from Summerfield High School, Petersburg, MI, have a 2.75 GPA or higher, must maintain full-time enrollment and be a Monroe County, Michigan, resident.
