MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the William J. and Hildreth C. Braunlich Memorial Scholarship to Maria Echeveste. The $2,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.
Echeveste, of Monroe, is a 2016 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central High School. She is undecided about her major while attending MCCC. She is the daughter to Reynaldo and Clementina Echeveste.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from St. Mary Catholic Central High School, have shown academic achievement, participated in student activities or community service and demonstrate financial need.
