MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Hallie H. Billmire Scholarship Jeremy McGarry. The $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
McGarry, of Erie, is a 2009 graduate of Mason High School and received his Associates of Fine Arts degree and is working on his global studies designation at MCCC. He is involved in the Gay-Straight Alliance Club, International Studies Club and Community Service Club at MCCC. team. He is the son of Patrick McGarry.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident.
