MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Former Bedford Rotarians and Friends Scholarship Susan Grant. The scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Grant, of Temperance, is a 2016 graduate of Bedford Senior High School and plans to get her Associate of Art Degree in Graphic Arts at MCCC. She is involved in greeting card illustration and letter writer for the US Military troops. She is the daughter of Vickie Grant and Robert Grant.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a current graduate of Bedford High School, first year student at MCCC, maintain fulltime enrollment while at MCCC, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, present financial need, past or present community or public service and they must perform 20 hours of community or public service during the scholarship year.
