MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Edward W. Banachowski Community Service Scholarship to Megan Taylor. The scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Taylor, of Monroe, is a 1993 graduate of Whitmer Senior High School, Toledo, Ohio, and is studying Early Childhood Development at MCCC. She is currently involved with Great Start to Quality for Monroe County. She is wife of Tim Taylor and the mother of Jackson, Baylee and Emma.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must show expressed interest in and be currently involved in community service. Additionally, a student must be a Monroe County Resident, have a 2.5 GPA minimum, and maintain full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more.
