MCCC Awards the Monroe County Exchange Club Scholarship

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has awarded the Monroe County Exchange Club Scholarship to Whitney Rutledge of Monroe. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, and fees.

Rutledge, a Monroe High School graduate, plans to attend MCCC for her prerequisites to apply for an occupational therapy assistant program. She has participated and volunteered in Relay for Life, Paint the Town Purple, Holiday Camp and T.H.A.N.K.S. She is also a competitive dancer. She is the daughter of Thomas Rutledge and Keri Henderson-Raymo.

Additional consideration will be given to students with financial need and student participants of the Monroe Exchange Club Junior Exchange Program.
