William Parker will present on Birthright and Citizenship.
William Parker is an Army veteran of Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He served 7 years active duty and 6 years in the Reserves. He is currently a Wayne County Deputy Sheriff and have been now for 25 years. He holds the rank of Corporal. He has worked in multiple units - fugitive apprehension unit, missing and exploited children unit, warrant enforcement unit, juvenile tether unit, frank murphy court/circuit court, central transportation and currently training unit. He is married and has three adult children. He is the president of Monroe NAACP. Parker is serving his second term as the volunteer president of the branch. He’s led the branch since it was reinstated on Sept. 22, 2018. Parker also is a deacon at Second Missionary Baptist Church and is enrolled in college to finish his degree in mortuary science.
