MCCC’s student play will be PUFFS: OR, SEVEN INCREASINGLY EVENTFUL YEARS AT A CERTAIN SCHOOL OF MAGIC AND MAGIC (One Act for Young Wizards Edition) by Matt Cox.
This 90 minute, fast paced comedy is a parody of the seven years when a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs…who just happened to be there, too.
Seeking 11 performers (5 M, 5 F, 1 either) to fill multiple roles. Some actors will play multiple characters. Roles are open to current MCCC students and alumni. Also seeking backstage helpers, who will be trained. All who are involved must follow an established code of conduct.
There will be a brief informational meeting on Tuesday, October 24, from 7-9 pm in the Holladay Theater, lower level of the Campbell building. It is not a requirement to attend this meeting if you are interested in auditioned, but strongly encouraged.
Auditions are Tuesday, Nov. 7 and Wednesday, Nov. 8, 7-10 pm in the Holladay Theater, lower level of the Campbell building. Auditions will begin in November and then continue after the winter break on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
