The emotional support presentation will focus on the importance of emotional support in promoting mental well-being. Participants will learn effecting coping strategies to enhance their ability to navigate challenges and build resilience.
Presented by Kristen Reed a Health Educator at the Monroe County Health Department. She is finishing her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Education at Eastern Michigan University (EMU). At EMU, Kristen is an executive board member of the health education honor society, Eta Sigma Gamma. As an executive board member and health educator, she has planned and implemented various health education events relating to mental health.
