MCCC’S Culture and Current Affairs Speakers Series features MCCC faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members with expertise on a variety of cultural, political or social topics of importance and interest.
The series includes regular speeches, presentations and panel discussions on a wide variety of topics that are prevalent in local, regional, state and local news.
Examples of past topics covered include the protection and safety in our communities, protests during the national anthem, post-election healing in America, immigration, regional water crises and terrorism.
