On the evening of Oct. 23, more than 75 guests gathered in Monroe County Community College’s La-Z-Boy Center atrium to celebrate the college’s 60th anniversary and its dedication to enriching the lives of our students and the community. At the reception, MCCC President Dr. Kojo A. Quartey provided a community update on what has been and what’s to come for MCCC, and the college unveiled Volume 3 of its history book series, titled “Monroe County Community College in the 21st Century – A History.”
